Drumming Therapeutic Sound Experience

That’s powerful stuff!  This months therapeutic sound session features my framedrum which will be played to give the opportunity for deep relaxation. Yes, believe it or not, the beat of the drum can be relaxing and this is due to entrainment of the brain. Humans are built to synchronise to the rhythms around us in our everyday lives; the seasons, day & night, tapping or moving to music, our own heartbeat. People have described the drum as ‘calming’, ‘powerful’, ‘primal’ & ‘ancient’.  This is the perfect instrument to bring someone into themselves & into the moment, bringing physical & mental imbalances into a state of flow.
