Bandha translates as ‘lock’, as in a lock in a canal where waterflow is guided and directed. Similarly our energy flow can be channelled and be contained within our bodies rather than leaking out. We can enjoy more vitality and clarity.

Women's Yoga & Wellbeing
Combining western medical science with Eastern wellbeing knowledge, to bring you a programme of yoga to support women in a positive, caring and empowering way. These sessions are mainly yoga but also includes talks and other wellbeing sessions to bring you a holistic approach to women's wellbeing.
What classes do you offer?
Hatha, Vinyassa, beginner's, 121/private sessions, somatics, yin, meditation, relaxation, restorative, power yoga, kids yoga. Slow and gentle to fast and strong - we hope there's a class for you in our timetable. Head to our Class Descriptions page for more detail.
I'm not flexible enough to do yoga.
You don't need to be bendy and flexible to practice yoga! We support you to find a way to practice that feels good for you. Yoga can improve strength and flexibility but the practice is about more than movement, it's about self discovery, stillness and connection. Come and find out...
What do I need to bring to a class?
We have lots of mats and props at the studio so you don't need to bring anything. Some people choose to bring a mat or blanket of their own. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to breathe and move easily - leggings, tracksuits, shorts, t-shirts etc.
